Connect with students from other disciplines and learn how to change the world.
The Barton Institute is pleased to invite applications for the third annual cohort of CiviCO Social Enterprise Fellowships. The Fellowships are an interdisciplinary program for DU graduate and professional students (in their second year and beyond) to get real-world experience addressing social and economic challenges – while getting paid to do it!
The selection committee will choose a cohort of 12 Fellows for the 2019-20 academic year. Fellows receive a $5,000 annual stipend for this co-curricular program that requires 10 hours per week. During the Fall quarter, Fellows attend a seminar on social enterprise and in the Winter and Spring quarters, they work for a social enterprise in the community.
This year, Fellows represent 8 different graduate programs, including business, law, health policy, economics, international development, geography, social work, and education.
Applications are due April 7. We’ll be hosting 2 informational sessions (with a free pizza lunch!) about the Fellowship:
March 12th, 12 – 1 p.m. Anderson Academic Common (AAC Room 290)
March 21st, 12 – 1 p.m. Ricketson Law Building (SCOL Room 290)
