Pathways Program Opens Leader Applications for Year Three
The Barton Institute is excited to announce the launch of Year Three of the Pathways Program!
We invite mid-career nonprofit executive directors (or those in similar roles), particularly those with historically marginalized identities, to participate in a one-year cohort experience (January – December 2027) focused on strengthening leadership skills, building meaningful relationships, and advancing personal and professional goals.
Hear From Our Leaders
Through their participation in the Pathways Program, Leaders report increased confidence, gaining new skills and knowledge, overcoming imposter syndrome, building stronger connections, and experiencing belonging.
“I felt seen”
“I’ve never been part of a program like this before. It did help me. It’s just different for a woman of color being in these spaces. For this Program to create spaces for us helped me understand there are people thinking about us and supporting our work. We just need to find those people who will support us.”
“We all go through phases of doubt. We go through those phases where things are difficult. It gave me the strength to know I’m not alone and I can reach out to others for support. I feel more secure as a leader now. I feel more comfortable as a leader. Even if I’m scared, I’ll still do the work.”
